We are looking for a
TEST ENGINEER
for their important Development Center situated in Milan.
The Test Engineer is expected to undertake both functional and non-functional testing activities including: creating test documentation, identifying test cases, identifying and creating test data, creating and running both manual and automated tests. This person will be involved in creating and running unit tests, automated tests as well as system level and functional acceptance tests. We want: 3+ years current Software Test experience, ideally a software based background with some form of relevant commercial or academic exposure to Electronic Engineering and/or Software Engineering of experience at least one bug reporting/configuration management system, use and development of rigorous software test specifications, ability to work on initiative and escalate issues as and when appropriate, good verbal and written skills need to be demonstrated, in particular the ability to communicate the nature of defects clearly, concisely and accurately. A good knowledge of TCP/IP and network protocols, network capturing tools, VoIP protocols, testing of network IP based products is also required.
